About Debra ♥ I am part of the Intensive Recovery Healing team and serve as a parent consultant in intensives when there are concerns about the impact of addiction and betrayal trauma recovery on adolescents and young adult children. I am also a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist and APSATS certified therapist who specializes in teens and young adults struggling with addiction.

Working with adolescents and young adults requires specialized knowledge and skills. The teenage and young adult years are critical times for identity formation and relationship development, and addressing addiction or betrayal trauma during these years has significant implications for long-term recovery and healthy relationship patterns.

As a parent consultant, I work with families to understand the broader impacts of sexual addiction and betrayal trauma, helping parents navigate their own emotions while supporting their children's recovery journeys. I provide psychoeducation, guidance, and support to help families restore trust and communication.
